Korean screening packages bundle blood work, imaging, ultrasound and endoscopy into a single visit at a fixed price. This page explains what that buys you at Metro Clinic, what the published price includes, and how to arrange it without Korean.
Packages run from 550,000 KRW to 1,500,000 KRW, VAT included.
Who this is for
Screening is the part of Korean healthcare that foreign residents use most and understand least. If you are working, studying or teaching in Korea, an annual checkup is routine here and priced as a package rather than per test. If you are visiting, the same packages are open to you. What usually stops people is not cost but not knowing what is inside a package, whether they can be seen in English, and what the final bill will be.

Clinics Korea does not take payment. You settle with Metro Clinic on the day.

Common questions
Do I need to be a resident of Korea to book a checkup?
No. The checkup centre sees both residents and visitors. Residents tend to use it for annual screening, while visitors usually combine it with a trip, but the packages are the same.
Are the prices really the final amount?
The published base package price includes Korean VAT — 550,000 KRW for Premium, for example. Optional extras such as an MRI package or a gynaecology package are charged on top, and the clinic confirms the current total when it books your slot. Note that the aesthetic treatment menu on this site uses the opposite convention and is quoted before 10% VAT.
Is the examination available in English?
Language support is offered during opening hours. Published materials are separate from live interpretation, so confirm the language you need when you send an enquiry.
How long does a checkup take?
The clinic does not publish a fixed duration, and it depends on which examinations your package includes. Sedated endoscopy in particular needs recovery time afterwards, so plan for most of a morning and ask the clinic to confirm when they hold your slot.
Can I get the results explained in English?
Ask when you send your enquiry. Language support runs during opening hours, and the checkup centre closes earlier than the internal medicine department, so the time of your appointment affects what is available.

WhatsApp reaches the same Clinics Korea enquiry desk as email, and a message there does not confirm an appointment. Please leave out medical records, photos, diagnoses and ID numbers; the clinic may request appropriate details later through an approved process.
We reply Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 Korean time (KST). Messages sent outside those hours are answered the next working morning.
