Frequently asked questions

Real questions from visitors booking Korean dermatology clinics. Not answered here? Email us at altego@kakao.com. Clinic availability and response time are controlled by the clinic.

Booking

Do I need to pay to use the Clinics Korea Aurea booking-request route?

Clinics Korea does not charge patients a separate coordination fee. Medical-service prices are set and collected by the clinic. Prices shown on this site may exclude 10% VAT, and the final amount is the clinic's written quote.

How far in advance should I book?

Contact the clinic as soon as your Seoul dates are fixed, especially for weekends or late-afternoon times. Availability and response time are controlled by the clinic and are not guaranteed by Clinics Korea.

Does opening the Aurea booking page confirm an appointment?

No. The page shows the current availability-request state and its verified next steps. Your appointment exists only after Aurea Clinic confirms a time directly.

Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Use the contact method in your clinic confirmation and follow the clinic's cancellation, deposit and no-show terms. Clinics Korea cannot promise that a change or cancellation is free.

At the clinic

Can I start an Aurea availability request in English?

Yes. The Clinics Korea booking page is in English and preserves your treatment and travel-window choices. Response language and timing are controlled by the clinic, so confirm consultation-language support before accepting a time.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Ask the clinic which passport or other identification it requires, and bring your booking confirmation plus an accurate list of medications and allergies for the physician. Ask whether it wants you to arrive without makeup.

How long does a first visit take?

Visit length depends on intake, consultation, preparation and whether treatment is offered on the same day. Ask the exact branch how much time to allow before arranging flights or fixed plans.

Can I get a consultation without committing to treatment?

Ask the clinic whether a consultation-only visit is available and whether a consultation fee applies. Review the doctor's plan and itemized written quote before deciding whether to proceed.

Prices & payment

Can this site tell me whether treatment in Korea is cheaper than at home?

No fixed saving can be claimed from one clinic menu. Clinics Korea publishes Aurea Clinic's dated prices with treatment units and VAT status; compare the clinic's final written quote with a like-for-like current quote at home and include travel and follow-up costs.

Are prices on this site final?

No. The tables reproduce Aurea Clinic's 1–31 August 2026 promotional menu, not a Seoul market range or an individual quote. After 31 August, treat them as historical unless a newer verified edition is published; the clinic confirms the applicable programme, conditions, VAT and final amount in writing.

Can I pay by foreign credit card?

Payment methods vary by clinic, branch and card issuer. Ask the clinic to confirm accepted card networks, cash, deposits and transaction limits before your visit.

Is VAT included in quoted prices?

The August 2026 prices on this site come from Aurea Clinic's published menu, which states that 10% VAT is excluded. Ask any clinic for a written final amount and do not assume another menu uses the same VAT presentation.

Safety & medical

What registration information has Clinics Korea checked?

Clinics Korea displays Aurea Clinic's international-patient registration number M-2026-01-08-708956, checked on 25 August 2026, on its detailed profile. Gangnam and Hongdae pages are neutral planning guides; they do not verify or recommend other institutions.

Is Clinics Korea itself a registered service?

Yes. Clinics Korea's Seoul international-patient facilitator registration is A-2026-01-02-07157, issued on 20 August 2026 and shown as valid through 18 August 2029. The About page displays the registered entity and scope; consult the responsible authority for legal interpretation.

What if I have a side effect after returning home?

Use the contact method in your clinic confirmation and follow its urgent-care instructions. Before treatment, ask for the after-hours contact route and a record of products, volumes or device settings. Seek appropriate local medical care for urgent symptoms; Clinics Korea does not provide medical triage.

Can I combine multiple treatments in one day?

Only the treating physician can decide whether specific treatments can be combined or need spacing after reviewing you and the proposed products or devices. Do not infer compatibility from a package name alone.
